Merry Christmas to our Church Family!

Beausejour Community Church family,

I love Christmas, because it is the time when we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Saviour of the world. This truly is the most wonderful time of the year! I also enjoy Christmas because it is a time of reflecting over the past year, and rejoicing in family and relationships.

Some of the church and ministry highlights of this past year for me included our annual Vacation Bible School, attended by many children from the community. In the summer, Liza led a team on our third annual mission trip to Costa Rica, where many lives were changed. This fall, we hosted another children’s community outreach event in the form of our Disney Fun Fest. In the spring, we had our home groups, and in the fall we hosted a weekly marriage course at the church. In addition to these, we also had our weekly children’s and youth ministries, and men’s and women’s ministries.

I continue to be involved in the community through the Christian club in our local high school, helping out as a lunchroom supervisor in our elementary school, and doing monthly chapels at Eastgate Lodge. I also host our community ministerial meetings once a month for all of the pastors in town. Am I busy? Yes. But I love doing what I do!

This December, Liza and I celebrate six years of pastoral ministry together at BCC. It has been an amazing blessing from the Lord to be able to shepherd this wonderful church family. We love and appreciate all of you very much.

Our prayer is that your family would know God’s peace and joy over this holiday season. As we head into 2013, our prayer is that you would experience many wonderful blessings from the Lord! Our vision for the New Year is Grace, Growth and Go. Experiencing God’s Grace – His love, acceptance and forgiveness, and sharing it with others. Growing spiritually, deeper in our relationship with Jesus and knowledge of God’s Word. And Going – into our world and sharing God’s love with others. Won’t you join us on the journey?

Vision 2013

With love, hugs & prayers,
