Chapter 1: The Glorious and Powerful Church
Haggai said, “The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former.” However, this last days’ church is not yet greater in power and glory than the church was in the Book of Acts. Therefore, we need to contend for signs and wonders to be restored to the church today!
Chapter 2: The Fullness of the Spirit
If we want to see the church become more glorious and powerful, then we need to experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
Chapter 3: Healing the Sick Today
The New Testament church experienced many signs and wonders, which resulted in many people coming to faith in Jesus. Because the early church is our blueprint, we need to contend for signs and wonders to be restored today.
Chapter 4: The Missing Ingredient of Boldness
What was the one ingredient that the early church had that caused them to be world shakers and history makers? Boldness! How do we get more boldness in our lives? By being with Jesus, praying for boldness, and being filled with the Spirit.
Chapter 5: Why Signs and Wonders?
Why does God want us to contend for signs and wonders and healings and miracles in the church? For the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
Chapter 6: God’s Looking for a Few Good Men
God is looking for a few good men… and women and children… to accomplish His will on the Earth. If each member of the church will do their part, it will help the other parts grow, so that the whole church is healthy and growing and full of love.
Chapter 7: Why People Don’t Always Get Healed
In the midst of the glorious, powerful church of Acts, where signs and wonders were frequent, not all of the people were healed all of the time. Why? We will consider that question as we look at the story of the martyr, Stephen.
Chapter 8: Preaching the Word
The church in Acts continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine – in the Word. God’s desire for His church is that we would devote ourselves faithfully to the preaching of the Word of God.
Chapter 9: Discovering Your Destiny
The two greatest questions that we can ask to discover our destinies are: “Who are you, Lord?” and “What do you want me to do?”
Chapter 10: Soaking in theSecret Place
Prayer is more than just going to God with your wish list. It’s about having intimate fellowship with Jesus where He communicates to us the loving heart of our heavenly Father.
Chapter 11: Last Days Prophetic Ministry
God wants His church to become a prophetic people who hear His voice, and proclaim His living word to others. When we do this, we will see people encouraged, comforted, and set free.
Chapter 12: Passionate Prayer Avails Much
Many people are trapped in spiritual, mental and emotional prisons. But just as Peter found freedom from his physical prison through passionate prayer, people today can be set free, too.
Chapter 13: Being a Missionary Christian
God has called us to be missionary Christians – people who focus on reaching others with the love of Christ.
Chapter 14: The Life-Transforming Power of the Gospel
Our mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. When we do this, it has the power to transform their lives.
Chapter 15: Keys to Healthy Relationships
Relationships are one of the most important aspects of the kingdom of God. Therefore, we need to learn these key principles from God’s Word to have healthy and loving relationships with one another.
Chapter 16: God’s Amazing Grace
The greatest miracle in the Kingdom of God is when someone encounters Jesus as their Savior. We are saved by God’s grace alone, through faith in Jesus. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
Chapter 17: Search the Scriptures
God’s desire is that we would be like the Bereans: That we would prepare our hearts, receive the Word, and search the Scriptures.
Chapter 18: The Power of Praise and Worship
Our highest calling is to worship God with all of our hearts. When we do this, there is a power in praise that can bring us victory over the troubles and problems in our lives!
