The Weekend Funnies – history and snowman suicide

We continue to endure one of the longest winters in history (it seems like!) here in southern Manitoba in Canada. Here’s the view from my house from a couple of days ago:

Long Winter

Here are your weekly funnies – including yet another artistic snowman by Calvin… enjoy!

We’ve had a winter like yours. Finally getting consistently above freezing but we’re still below normal, and still lots of snow hanging around. The “Test” Calvin comic sounds like my son, Andrew. I think that was his mindset when he was in school! Blessings.

    • Chris Jordan says:

Mel – actually, the past few days we’ve had temperatures that are finally around 0, so it’s warming up… spring’s on the way! And that’s cool about your son Andrew – lots of fun…

  2. Chris, I truly do sympathize with you concerning this awful prairie winter. Truly. Well, at least a little. Snow from the two big storms we had over the past couple of weeks is pretty much gone, so our inconvenience was short-lived and we can get on with spring now. I’ll refrain from posting pictures of the tulip shoots coming up in my front yard. Love the Calvin comic, by the way!

    • Chris Jordan says:

Wendy – to be honest, I’m not taking it as hard as some other folks who live around here. One thing I know – sooner or later, spring always comes! But please, post some pics of your tulip shoots, and encourage those of us patiently (!) waiting for spring… 🙂 Blessings!
