Reflections with Calvin and Hobbes – Every Man Dies (#Braveheart Quote)

One of my favourite quotes is from the movie Braveheart, spoken by Mel Gibson’s character William Wallace: “Every man dies. Not every man really lives.”

Braveheart Quote Every Man Dies

Life and death.

Living and dying.

One day, every one of us will die.

But what is the purpose of living?

What is the purpose of dying?

Today’s series of Calvin and Hobbes comic strips offer some thoughts on the topic of death…

Calvin & Hobbes - squirrel die 4

Calvin & Hobbes - squirrel die 6

Every man (or woman) dies.

But not every man really lives.

What are you doing to really live today??
